Journalists and Bloggers - turn your Stories and Blogs into a true multimedia experience!
Blinked.TV are proud to announce a great new tool for journalists and bloggers - embedding the video, audio and text content in your Blinked.TV channels into your own Blog or Web pages!
To your right is an example of a channel embed with an embedded player.
Click on any of the video or audio links, and that link should start playing in the embed window.
You can also create embeds that open up a web page and play the item on Blinked.TV - very useful when you want to conserve space on your own web pages.
Embeds are fully customisable and need only take a few minutes to set up.
So How is it done?
- Log in, set up a new Category Channel if necessary and then go to your channel page and inspect the admin box that should be present.
- Click on the 'EMBED THIS CHANNEL' link
- A grey box should come up with a range of parameters.
- As you fill in the parameters you require for your custom embed, a preview of it's appearance should appear towards the bottom of the box.
- The embed code will also appear towards the bottom of the grey box. When you are satisfied copy this code and insert it into your web page. This may involve a bit of trial and error to get right.
- Now items streamed to your channel should be listed in your embed. Please note that to be displayed in an embed, items must have the permission 'viewable to all' set.
